Come on an adventure with the brave mouse Despereaux! "The Tale of Despereaux" is the story of three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears - whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle's princess.

The Haynie Public Library will show "The Tale of Despereaux" at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29. Because of the movie's length, it is best for children ages five and up. Vision Bank is providing popcorn, so your child should just bring a drink (in a non-glass container with a lid), something to sit on and a sense of adventure!
