The Prague Police Department staff is dedicated to protecting, serving and providing law enforcement services to the entire community, as well as those who work or visit our community. Our department achieves this goal through the efforts of (9) sworn officers and reserve officers. Our officers are fully certified, and maintain utmost vigilance and professionalism in the protection of the city. The Prague Police Department also has a K-9 Unit to help combat illegal drug use and dealing. Our Police Department has a (5) cell jail facility for incarceration of inmates.

The Prague Police Department has a full time Animal Control/Code Enforcement Officer.

The Prague Police Department has a full time dispatch center which is operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is accomplished with 4 full-time dispatchers and 1 part-time dispatcher who take great pride in serving the community.

The Prague Police Department believes in community policing, and being involved in our schools by providing different programs for the youth in our community.
